Infesting Clintonville Ohio are Rats

Since August of 2013 rats have been invading Clintonville area and they are still around.
Clintonville area commissioner and others distributed fliers to residents. The health department tried to use fliers to educate people about eliminating food source like our trash, bird feeder and animal feces. Rats are very smart. They can survive in holes underground and between walls.

The health department surveyed area in December and found out that 34% of the area is infested. This means one out of three residents have evidence of rodent infestation. The city took out ads in the local paper and sent out mailers to residents again.

Two people are hired to survey the area this month and will be writing citation to residents to comply within 21 days.

Hope this will finally control the rat invasion in Clintonville, Ohio
